I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Brooklyn, NY) in Mar 2014
Interview
They will most likely contact you by phone and email. They are very pleasant and will work with you on an interview date and time that's good for you. You will most likely have a group interview; they will have about 4-5 candidates at a Chipotle restaurant, ask a question and either go around the table to give each person a chance to answer, or ask someone to speak first after asking their question.

Question 1
Can't think of a difficult question; they were all pretty basic. i.e. 'Tell me something about yourself...', 'Why do you want to work here?' 'Tell me about a time you had a problem with a difficult employee (or customer) and how you resolved it'...
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
