I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle in Dec 2014
Interview
I filled out an application online and a couple days later I had an email asking me to come in on 12/18 at 9am. After reading other reviews on here I was expecting the group interview but I wasn't expecting the process to take two hours. I arrived about 10 minutes early to make sure I wasn't late, but the assistant manager didn't even come out to say hello until about 9:40. He took 3 people to another area and questioned them for about an hour while the rest of us waited. He came back and took another group of us and began our interview. Of the twenty or so minutes we spent with him, 15 of it was him talking. I felt like I was at a sales convention for Chipotle. He had nothing but good things to say about it, which is great, but I was already sold on the idea of working for them. Hence I applied and attended the interview. He asked us a total of five questions in between his ramblings and ended the interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
