Was contacted by a recruiter who indicated I have a great skillset for this particular role. After discussions with the hiring manager, I was rejected due to tenure at previous roles which have been primarily because I worked in startups that did not make it/was impacted by RIF's. Disappointing that a hiring manager is willing to pass up a discussion to learn instead of assuming.
