I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Mission Viejo, CA) in Mar 2025
Interview
I recently had an interview for a Crew Member position and it was pretty unprofessional. The guy who interviewed me clearly did not have much experience interviewing people, he forgot my name twice and even asked me what my name was during the interview he also spoke very quietly to the point where I had a hard time hearing him. He waited until he was done asking questions to tell me that location was looking more to hire Grill Cooks so he basically wasted my time interviewing me for a position they weren't hiring for.

Question 1
Would you be willing to work as a Grill Cook instead?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had

Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (West Hartford, CT) in May 2026
Interview
I scheduled an interview, but when I arrived the first time the manager was not there, so I had to reschedule. At the second interview, I waited about 10–15 minutes before the manager was ready. The interview itself was short, around 10 minutes, and mostly consisted of behavioral questions read from a sheet. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not very personal, but the questions were straightforward.
