Initially I got a call from the recruiter. She did the initial screen questions. After I spoke with her, she set up a time to interview with the hiring manager.
I interviewed with the hiring manager over the phone. It went pleasantly enough. Nothing too terribly difficult as far as questions go.
HR reached out to me again and said they wanted to fly me out to Soho, NY to interview with additional managers throughout the supply chain. They paid for my ticket and let me know which hotel to go to. I figured it would be paid for but I had to pay for the hotel and get reimbursed later for it. Any food or taxi expenses were reimbursed about a month after the trip occurred.
I flew in at around Midnight and got to my hotel around 1. I then had my first interview at headquarters at 8:30. I was put through the ringer at interviews. Each interview was about 30 minutes and I had 6 people to interview with. I was also given a timed excel test.
Once I finished I had to catch a taxi and rush to the airport to catch my flight. They let me know after I got home that they wanted me to interview the head of HR. Then after that they wanted me to send them 3 references with their testimony of my work ethic and what not within less than a day.
After all of this, they didn't offer me the job. I felt like I was strung along and put through a LOT to not get the offer.
