Found the company through LinkedIn decided to apply. Typical phone screening if they like your application, asked a couple of behavioral questions, so answer with the star method: basic boilerplate sales questions, no real curveballs.
That went well, and the recruiter said they thought I was a great candidate for the role. They mention they are moving quickly on the role, so I would hear back by the end of the day or following business day. Two days later and a follow-up and no response.
I sent another email on Monday; I finally received a response that they want to schedule a meeting with the manager. I sent my available times, no response again. I sent another email the following business day and confirmed with the meeting room link.
The day of the interview rolls around. I am ready to go. About 10 minutes before the interview, I receive a cancellation notification for the meeting. It was shortly followed by an email, too afraid to call someone to notify them. Said that the role was filled.
What a garbage experience. DO NOT APPLY HERE IF YOU LIKE FOR PEOPLE TO WASTE YOUR TIME. Seriously, how do you recruiters do this to people and go to sleep at night?
