I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Christie's (London, England) in Feb 2018
Interview
The application process was quite straightforward as I only had to submit CV and cover letter. I received a call from HR team inviting me to an interview. The interviewers were professional. My main issue is with the HR team. The interviewer told me that they would be in touch within 7 days. I never heard from Christies after that point even though I have very good credentials. I telephoned the HR team to find out whether a decision had been made. She responded reassuring me she would be in touch once the recruitment manager will have made a decision regarding the successful candidates. I never received a rejection email from Christies. I think that this is disrespectful because the company knew that I had to travel from afar; I paid over 100 pounds to book travel to London as the HR team only gave me three days notice before the interview. At this point, I think it is reasonable for the company to treat me with some degree of respect after I invested time and money into the interview. This would include greater degree of communication. However, this experience gave me a valuable insight into company culture and perhaps it is not the sort of place where I want to work after all.
