Interview

Rather than an in person interview or a Zoom alternative, the first round interview at Christie's was through HireVue. Since they use this program, it makes the experience awkward and unnatural.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you started a work or school assignment that was then changed in such a way that you had to adjust your approach. Please describe what happened, your actions, and the result.
An initial emailed HireVue interview request with multiple STARR based questions about past work and life experiences. Around 5 to 6 questions with a minute to prepare followed with a few minutes to answer each.
Hirevue interview then online assessment. Hirevue was straightforward with questions on background teamwork time management etc and online assessment was a smooth process. At the end of the hirevue there was a picture task and then some gamified tests.
You first submit a written application, and if successful, you’re invited about a month later to complete a HireVue video interview with timed, recorded answers. A few weeks after that, there’s an online exam. If you pass, the final stage is an in-person interview or assessment day with deeper interviews and possibly case studies or group exercises.
