I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Church & Dwight in Aug 2024
Interview
Worst interview experience ever in my life! The process took 2 months. Phone screening with HR no show and rescheduled, hiring manager interview followed in a week, and head of marketing final interview. I followed up with HR and the hiring manager, no response. Almost a month later, I got rejected by an auto-rejection email.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Church & Dwight (Newark, NJ) in Jun 2022
Interview
I was contacted after being turned down for a different road. The recruiter spoke with me about my interests and the needs of the company, and the roles available. She made it sound like there would be a broad mix of managers that I would speak with to see if there was a best fit. She then very quickly organized 4 rounds of interviews.
When I started interviewing, it became clear that there was a single role I was being considered for. Not a huge problem, but it certainly made questions like "Why are you considering a career in beauty?" a harder one, as I had not been told that was the role they were considering me for.
Then, silence. I checked the career portal, and finally, 3 months later, saw an update that I was no longer being considered. No hard feelings, but not being told or communicated with was a hardship.
