      Application

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cielo (Buenos Aires) in Apr 2018

      Interview

Let me tell you about the worst interview process I've ever been part of: Cielo is an AWARD WINNING Recruitment Company, let's have that clear before continuing. This was the second time I applied to this company since the first one was for a position that required more experience than I had. I was contacted by a recruiter to attend a double interview process at their offices which I attended without any issues, they were very polite and the whole process went pretty smooth. When I was about to have my second interview of the day, I was approached by the management assistant to let me know that my interview had been suddenly canceled because the Head of HR had an important meeting she could not miss. This seemed weird to me since, as far as I know, they work everything with calendars and appointments, meaning that said meeting and out interview should have been planned into a schedule. I left that day with promises of getting the interview the next day, same place, same hour. In the afternoon I was contacted by said assistant again to change the interview to a Skype one, which was fine by me since I would not have to commute to their office. Here is where it gets interesting: The next day I confirm my availability to the interview and sit down at agreed time only to be told (not an hour before, not even 5 minutes) at the moment of starting our conversation that the Head of HR was late to the interview because she missed the train. We agreed to move the interview, again, to an hour later, around 11:30am. I get ready again at 11:30, but there is no one there, 12:30, same...I contacted the management assistant through e-mail and asked what happened. Silence, complete and absolute silence. At 14:30pm I got the e-mail from my interviewer and e-mailed her directly to see what was going on. An hour later I got a very rude answer saying that I should have not contacted her directly, that it was not appropriate since she was not managing my process. The e-mail also said that she would interview me "between 16h and 17h that day", at 16h I got ready AGAIN and she made me wait until 16:50 for my interview. This interview lasted a total of 5 minutes and she did not ask me anything relevant, at all, nothing. She was clearly very tired of working the entire day and put zero attention and she was not interested in anything I was saying about my background. --------- Let me repeat, this is a company in charge of recruitment, their job is literally to recruit people for other companies, and apparently they are very good at it because they even have awards for it, BUT FOR THEIR INTERNAL RECRUITMENT THEY SUCK. IT'S AWFUL. Not to mention they made me lose my entire day waiting for a 5 minute interview that lead to absolutely nothing at all. Not getting an answer from the assistant who was in charge of my recruitment process was extremely rude. They made me feel as if I was not really a valuable candidate. Also, the job I applied to was supposed to be entry level, but they ended up picking another candidate who apparently had a ton of experience in recruitment. Management does not seem to be respectful towards those that are trying to get a job in their company or even to those under their charge (I rest my case looking at the reviews on this site).
