I applied online. I interviewed at Cinemark (Daly City, CA) in May 2017

Interview

Applied online and got called in for an interview about 2 weeks later. The manager did ask me a couple of common interview questions, but she didn't seem to really care about my answers. The most important thing was my availability schedule. Just expand your availability as much as you can and you're putting yourself in a good position to be hired. I got an offer on the spot and I accepted. Got called in for orientation a few days later and started work the next week.

Interview

I was interviewed by the HR rep and a senior manager. I spoke mostly with the senior manager because the HR rep didn't really seem interested in who I was or anything, and the senior manager was easier to talk to. It was easy to make a personal connection with him, which made me feel more at ease.

fairly quick, multiple managers fill out questionnaire, multiple interruptions from theater employees, asked t practice up selling popcorn combos, inquired about training in other departments such as box office and usher. decision made within a day s,tarted within 2 weeks.
