I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cinemark (Carson, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Applied online and got a email to choose a time slot for a day for a group interview. If you can't go on that day and if the time slot you picked isn't available anymore you are out of luck. I got my slot and went to the theatre that day. The manager conducted the whole group to the interview room and was on time. Asked us icebreaker questions before we had to fill out a form in a 10 min time limit. The form asked simple questions like amount of change that should be given, time/holiday availability etc, and 3 small about yourself questions that are not that in depth. After that it was just a simple Q&A and some simple general standards from the company and that was it. Overall a horrible process since in the end they don't really get to know you personally, they don't get to ask you enough questions since it's a group interview. Asinine way to choose people to work in a company and only used to save time. All they have to go on is the paper you fill out, which everyone should have the same answers except the availability and the 3 simple personal questions, and a resume if you submit one. If you have a strong resume with no furthur education plans or no current job and are available all the time apply otherwise goodluck.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If you started a youtube channel what would it be about?
Pretty basic questions. What are your hours, experience, etc. They then talked about the positions.Just pretty much look clean, show up on time, and ask questions at the end to gain a spot.
The interview process was easy going. My interviewer was very polite. The questions that were asked were very general, mostly about availability. You are trained on the job for what you need to know afterwards.

The interview was super easy and done solo—no group interview at all. I got hired on the spot, which was a nice surprise. The whole process was quick, smooth, and completely stress-free from start to finish.
