I went through the whole process, including hiring manager screen, technical stage, and final stage interviews, and received an offer. However, after taking the weekend to consider my options with another offer on the table, the offer was revoked via an automated email just moments before I was about to accept it, when I had already turned down the other offer. No adequate explanation was given as to why. I had been made redundant from my previous post, so this seriously wasted my time and effort in a very time-restricted period, leading me to have to start my search again. This caused considerable stress and anxiety, and was extremely unprofessional on their part.
