Cipher Tech Solutions Forensic Software Engineer interview questions

Put in a application, and then was given a link to a coding challenge. The challenge consisted of 3 questions, and all of them were on topics I hadn't encountered before. The whole thing took me about 3 hours, most of which were researching the topics. My solution for question 3 was not complete, but I wasn't going to invest more time into it when I haven't even talked to the company. My feedback was as follows: "challenge 3 is not complete", and that "The overall code quality was also not up to our standards"..
