Circle Internet Financial Customer Service Representative interview questions

Initially, I was excited about this position. I was familiar with Circle and even used its services in the past. So, I applied for the Customer Service Position upon seeing the job listing. I then received an email response a few days later from the recruiter to complete the writing API test. The test wasn't complicated; it evaluated your writing skills (since Circle's support is done entirely by email). I completed the test within an hour (though I had up to 48 hours to finish it) and received an email from the recruiter the next day to schedule a 15-minute Google Meet interview. The interview with the recruiter went exceptionally well. She was charming and informative about the position. Based on my interaction with her, she scheduled an interview with the Hiring Manager. Unfortunately, it was the 45-minute Google Meet interview with the Hiring Manager the following week where things went off the rails. First, she had a cold and standoffish attitude the minute she saw me. She gave the impression that she had better things to do than interviewing me. Also, her internet connection was poor due to conducting the interview first in the hotel lobby, then in her room. Hence, there were interruptions throughout the interview. And some of her questions were so off-kilter that I knew she had no interest in hiring me, despite my extensive background, passing the assessment, and the excellent interview with the recruiter a week prior. The Hiring Manager remained icy and unmoved in my responses throughout the video call. I even tried cracking a self-deprecating joke to lighten the mood; the most I received in return was a deadpan, nose-in-the-air expression with forced smiles. Even when I asked her, "What is the starting rate per hour?" she replied, "This is something I'm sure the recruiter has gone over with you." Well, yes. The recruiter did. However, the rate the recruiter gave me was contradictory to what she, the Hiring Manager, told me! It was apparent she decided that she wouldn't move forward with my candidacy before the interview began. I wasn't surprised I got an email from the recruiter confirming my suspicion. It was a complete waste of my time. I recommend not applying for this position. The Hiring Manager will pass over hard-working, qualified candidates based on personal biases she has about you.
