I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Bengaluru) in Mar 2011
Interview
Had multiple rounds. The final was conducted by the QA manager. Even thought I did not know much about the domain, he was generous enough to help me deduct few answers.
Process was strange, interviewed by 3 people, hiring manager and one group interview. It was extremely easy, they didn't even ask me real questions. Just hyped up my resume. They seemed disinterested once I told them I'd rather be remote
Straight forward and casual. Virtual interviews using WebEx.
After final round of interviews (3-4 interviews at this point), they decided not to hire anyone. Sounds like they got free consultation advice from candidates and decided to do the work themselves. Good luck with that. It's clear that they need writers but don't want to spend the money.
the interview didnt happen in the end after the interview was rescheduled twice! I reached out to reiterate my interest even after this experience. I received no reply to date
