I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cisco (Bengaluru) in Aug 2023
Interview
Grilled completely on resume. Followed up by some Python basics, DBMS related questions like JOINS and SQL queries. Asked about ML concepts because the were present in my resume. Then basic Data related questions that can be implemented in real world.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Cisco (Belgrade, Central Serbia)
Interview
First there was a call with the recruiter, then an interview with the team. During the interview, they gave a test task to check SQL knowledge (I had to write code on a whiteboard) — it wasn’t too hard (I’d prepared with ChatGPT, and the interview questions were clearly taken from it as well). I’m not quite sure why I was rejected, since everything seemed to go well.
Very professional and standard.
Intro call from recruiter and then a chat with the hiring manager.
Then you work your way through the phases as usual meeting various members of the department.
Everyone very nice and professional.

Straightforward and under 3 rounds, very nice people and common interview. Not too many challenging questions. Situational and a few about previous responsibilities and interest in the role overall . I decided to not accept an offer but experience was great and I would recommend to others
