I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco in Jan 2023
Interview
Applied through LinkedIn. Two weeks later, received email from recruiter asking me to fill out a linked form, which I did same day. Two more weeks went by and I then received an invitation to schedule three virtual interviews, with two people on each call. No one from HR or Talent Acquisition was involved in any of them. The first interview was with two women, neither of whom turned on their cameras, which I thought was odd for a virtual interview. I decided to turn off my camera, too, which somehow made it even more awkward. That 45-minute call wasn't great, but not terrible either. Next interview was with two men, one of whom would be my direct manager. It went great. They asked good questions, and thought I asked good questions, too. Felt much more like I had a good chance of getting the position after that interview. Third interview was one man and one woman, which was at least as good as the second interview, if not even better. Both wished me sincere good luck at the end of the call. After that...nothing. Not even the traditional "thanks but no thanks" email.
