I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Citadel in Oct 2024
Interview
Received an automatic OA. After passing it, I scheduled my technical interview, but the interviewer never showed up. I emailed them about this and they were quick to respond and offer to reschedule, but after telling them when I was available they never got back to me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Find the amount of pairs of indices (i, j) where v[i] = v[j] = v[i+1] + v[i+2] + ... + v[j- 1]. O(n log n)
AI-assisted first round interview. Interviewers asked class design questions (design an override system for a trading system, design a puzzle piece and then an assemble function given a list of these pieces). Questions were fairly vague and interviewers were looking for what you would do with a lot of freedom.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
design an override system for a trading system. what considerations need to be made for one?
Hard. Ask advanced python questions. 2 coding questions (1 easy 1 medium). Interviewer was friendly. Ask some resume questions (what project related to python that you are most proudest of, explain that...)
Went pretty well. They told me to introduce myself, asked me a question about my resume and then asked a LeetCode Medium question. I did not move forward to the Superday round.
