I received an email from a recruiter asking me to give her a few times that I could take a phone call and interview for the role. After letting her know the times that worked for me. She sent a very unprofessional email and told me to call a # listed in the email at the confirmed time. I made sure that my schedule was clear and called the number at exactly 2pm as directed. No Answer. I called again about 5 mins later and still no answer so I left a message. 15 mins after that I called again. No answer. The next day I received an email that stated they were pursuing other candidates. I emailed the original recruiter and explained what happened her response was " Since you failed to make your interview appointment we decided not to pursue you" I was flabbergasted to say the least. I politely emailed her again and told her that their interview process is a joke and I did not miss the interview - The person that was supposed to interview me missed the interview. It was actually quite comical because most companies have the HR person call you. I have since found employment and it is more than likely a much better role that the CITI position anyway.
