The virtual interview with the AVPs went great. After the interview, recruiter called me and told me that she'll schedule me for a job offer call. Waited for 2 weeks, I sent a follow up every 2 days, just to be told that my NEGOTIABLE asking rate is apparently "too high" for what they can offer. Could've told me after the interview or even before telling me about the job offer call or even before ghosting me. Really unprofessional.
