Interview
Expected to have long and intense interview with many executives. Only few questions are identical (such as tell me about yourself), most of them ask different questions that involves work experience, behavioral, technical and brain teaser….it really depends on how many of them are interviewing you. HINT: you probably know a lot about banking and finance if you are business student, but make sure you review the definition of all basic finance and accounting term, memorize them if you can.
Much more fit questions than technical questions asked, prepare strong elevator pitch and research on the fit and culture. Hiring interviews proceed fairly quickly if hiring manager is keen but do engage with HR regularly for updates.
Had one call, asked high level technical questions for example on the yield curve, current news, and interest rates. The interviewer gave me no indication of whether I would move on to the next round or not or how I was doing during the interview.
three rounds not that hard. applied 10 days before contacted for an email questionaire, then 1st round panel interview with two people, two days later got an email calendar invite for a 2nd round interview in two business says.
