I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Citizens
Interview
Never got to the interview. Hopefully things have changed with Citizens acquisition, but be weary. Franklin American received my resume through a recruiter, but pointed out things that weren't on my resume as reason to deny interview. It was so patently incorrect, I wrote a review stating the egregious comments from Franklin American, wrote a review of such here on Glassdoor, and was immediately threatened by the recruitment firm to remove the review or I would be "blackballed" from ever working again. That's quite hilarious. Then the recruitment firm said they would lose Franklin American Mortgage as a client if the review was removed from Glassdoor. Once again, quite hilarious. Or is it just sad? Either way, be careful with Franklin American Mortgage (apparently just named Franklin American because not even they know what they do).

Easy interview—behavioral only, no coding. I genuinely think you have a strong chance. Stay confident, prepare your stories well, and keep working hard. You’ve already done the difficult part by getting the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The main thing they asked me was to walk through my resume. Most of the conversation focused on my experience, projects, technical decisions, and past work, with follow-up questions based on what I shared rather than anything unexpected.
Short 30 minute final round interview where we went through my resume and talked about APIs and asked basic behavioral questions. They asked me the same question in different ways several times so I gave them a separate scenario for each time they reworded the question.
AI and underwhelming format. Nonsensical questions and glitches ai voice led to a difficult and sub optimal experience. It was less than 15 minutes and was not at all what was conveyed beforehand
