Phone interview talking about my career history. Had to take a personality test and a pre-employment test (logic and fun stuff) and had to do a video interview (6 BBI questions) and had to tape each question and submit. The recruiter Nathan (awesome guy) submitted my test results and my video interview (told by Nathan that I did excellent). The next day, I received an email from the owner of the business here in Fort Meyers asking me to take another personality test and then the Wonderlic test (timed logic and such). Sorry, but that was just asking way too much from someone that has been with their company for 8 successful years with excellent experience. I backed out of the process because in sales, it isn't all about how smart you are. People do business with people they like and I felt that if the owner is that concerned with how smart someone is to work for them in a sales position that it wouldn't be a match because even though I am smart, you need the other personable skills to work with people. Funny thing is that I come from the industry and would of been very successful with the job. To top it off, they don't even offer full benefits! Managers, Owners and such, the reason you are having trouble finding the right candidates is because you make if so difficult to get hired. Why would I leave my company of 8 years to go somewhere that makes it so difficult to get hired? VERY Disappointing!
