Interview

I had two separate interviews. One with Human Resources and one with my immediate supervisor. They were both one on one interviews in which they asked me about my past work experience and education. I gave them a list of my strengths and what I felt I could bring to the radiology team here for the City of Philadelphia. I explained to them that my goal was to gain a deep background in public health so that I could use that to broaden my work experience and make me desirable as an employee. My immediate supervisor then took me to one of their ambulatory clinics and showed me the equipment that I would be using if they decided to hire me.

Phone interview mostly just outlining the job description to make sure that candidates were interested, followed by an in person interview. Met with my future boss and discussed what projects I'd be working on. Finally I was also given a given a tour of the building I would be working in.

Their willingness to make time to meet with me at that time was commendable, and a clear sign of their commitment to the department's growth.
