One phone interview and two in person interviews. Met with the team lead and director of the department then with the manager. Interviews went well. Process was coordinated and smooth. Interviews were very straight forward and included details about the position, department, and company. I was contacted by HR with verbal offer then emailed full packet of offer letter and other paperwork. I accepted and returned packet with a start date in 2 weeks. I was called by HR on Thursday before my start date (3 days from then) and told offer was rescinded due to budget cuts. I later heard the company had a large layoff the next day.
