Recieved an email from HR (NYC) and we scheduled a phone interview the following week. She was an absolute professional and delight. Later, we scheduled a second interview with the office manager, but that turned out to be kind of futile because she doesn't decide hiring or firing. Finally, the direct supervisor was on leave and we had a phone interview which was brief. Overall, it seemed like I was progressing far into the hiring stages—was asked to give references— but unfortunately wasn't chosen.
