Was really looking forward to being interviewed by Clarins, but it was an overall horrible candidate experience. I applied for the CRM position at first, and was put through the typical HR phone screen. After that I spoke to the two departments heads, and had to complete and assignment. After the assignment was completed I had to interview with 2 more people on the team. At this point I have already spoken to 5 different people, and spent at least 6 hours on the interview process. I didn't hear from HR for a little over a week, and was rejected for that position, but they wanted me to interview for another position within the company. This other role was more my speed, so I gave them dates/times I would be available. Didn't hear from HR for about a week after that, and every-time I followed up I was told "someone would reach out to me". A little over a week passed by, and HR told me I needed to complete an assignment before scheduling an interview (at this point I had already been told I would be interviewing in person). Anyway, I did the assignment which took 2 hours to complete, and honestly felt like I was doing work for them free of charge. After I sent the assignment in, I was expected to finally get my interview date, as again, I was told a week ago I would be interviewing, but no. They rejected me a week later for the position. Overall, the entire experience was awful. It was an extremely slow process (about 2 months), was left in the dark for weeks, and no one seemed to communicate with one another. Honestly, this was probably the most exhausting interview process I have ever been through.
