Applied online, then about a week later I was sent an email telling me to choose a time for a phone screen based on the recruiter's availability (which was a little impersonable). There was not a lot of time to choose from, so I had to wait a whole week for the screen.
The phone screen lasted probably 5 minutes. The recruiter was not pleasant, barely let me speak, and did not let me ask any follow up questions. The company doesn't seem to have too many good reviews in the first place, so you would think they would try their best to put on a kind face and recruit people.

We would expect that the conversation would take more than 5 minutes and should be more about listening to the candidate's key work skills and experiences. As for the automated scheduling tool, most organizations are looking for ways to streamline the process.
