Not sure if this can be included but thought it may be of interest to someone. I applied for a position, only a 12 month maternity cover in April, they emailed me 5th July to say I had been unsuccessful. I think Companies and their recruiters do need to be held accountable for their communications, they do represent their companies and more importantly all applicants whether successful or not are potential customers!
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Clarks (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2012
Interview
Called for group Interview at downtown location, group and individual activities, lasted roughly an hour. Store manager and one Team Leader were there to run interview and activities, very friendly and efficient. We had a chance to meet other candidates without wasting time on out of date activities etc, and the questions were asked to individuals who volunteered an answer, and to small groups split up to brainstorm and give answers together.
