Handed my CV into the shop, and was invited there and then to a group interview the following week. The interview was quite packed. We were asked to go into the staff room, fill out a few forms. We were then asked to talk to the person next to us and get to know them. Then stand up with your partner and talk about them. Then we were split into 2 groups, one group had to mind map benefits for the customers and the other group had to mind map the benefits for the workers (for Clarks). Then we were split into 3 groups and had to carry out 3 activities. One of these consisted of sitting around a table with your group with piece of paper face down. Each piece of paper had a question on it and we took it in turns to pick up the piece of paper and begin answering it. Another activity took us into the stock room, we were asked to go to the shop floor and pick a shoe that best describes you, bring it back and talk about how it describes you. On the last task, you had to go onto the shop floor, pick out any child's shoe and come back and try to sell it. A few days later I was contacted to say whether I got the job or not.
