I was contacted by their internal recruiter and had a 20 minute long phone screening after which I was moved forward to an in-person interview. The interview was at their Oakville head office and was split into two parts: one with the manager, and then one with the two other members of the marketing team. The interview was just under two hours long due to the fact that I ended up answering the same questions twice; first with the manager and then in the panel. I ended up being extremely late back to my current job as I hadn't anticipated a 2 hour long interview (plus the commute) and had scheduled it over my lunch.
I followed up with the internal recruiter who told me that I was going forward to the next step, a final phone screen with the VP of Category and Commercial Marketing.
The final phone call with the VP of Category and Commercial Marketing was very brief, only about 10 minutes, during which he asked me if I had any questions (not much else). I asked about the discrepancy with what team member was going on maternity leave and learned that the marketing manager was going on maternity leave and then, 5 months later, the most senior marketing team member would also be going off on maternity leave (2/3 people in the department would be gone!). They planned on hiring a marketing assistant to cover for the marketing manager's leave! At the end of the phone screen, the VP told me that I would hear back from the internal recruiter the next week. I never heard from them again.
