A group interview. A good level of contact beforehand and after, you had to choose a shoe to pitch and pitch it in front of the group. You also had to talk a bit about yourself.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Clarks (Glasgow, Scotland) in May 2016
Interview
The interviewer was very friendly. Interview was well organised and straightforward questions. The induction involved 15 new employees for peak season and was very informative. More experienced employees were very helpful with new starts, and the training was thorough. Well supported throughout the first few weeks so employees felt confident to fit and sell children’s shoes during the back to school season.
Easy, short, relevant questions - interviewers were all friendly and genuinely wanted to help you answer questions to the best of your ability. Felt very at ease and relaxed at all times throughout.
Choose a shoe and then create a pitch to sell us this shoe. Explain why someone should buy the shoe that you have decided to choose and try to sell us.
