I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Clarks (Providence, RI) in Feb 2011
Interview
Everyone begins as a part time sales associate and has to move their way up. The commission schedule was explained to me in detail before any questions were asked. The interview was rather informal. The store manager does not have the ability to hire, they can only make recommendations to upper management who will either approve or disapprove their decision.

Question 1
None really. Like I said they basically hired me on spot given my experience. Management wasn't anything they said they would be. Very careless and non attentive. No wonder so much theft.
