I handed my CV in store. I then got a call inviting me to a group interview. At the group interview they asked questions (such as ice breakers) and asked us all to pick a shoe and try to sell it. I then got a phonecall to say I had been successful and they were offering me a temporary summer job. After summer, when all of the seasonal contracts had ended, I then got offered a permanent contract (I stayed for nearly 4 years).
A group interview. A good level of contact beforehand and after, you had to choose a shoe to pitch and pitch it in front of the group. You also had to talk a bit about yourself.
Easy, short, relevant questions - interviewers were all friendly and genuinely wanted to help you answer questions to the best of your ability. Felt very at ease and relaxed at all times throughout.
Choose a shoe and then create a pitch to sell us this shoe. Explain why someone should buy the shoe that you have decided to choose and try to sell us.
