Group interview. All applicants were added to a WhatsApp group chat beforehand and given details of the interview. Around 15 of us, mostly school student age, were attending. Once we were in the office, the manager asked all of those who would be busy during the end of August (just generally, not specifying why/any dates) to stand up and then said, 'you guys have not been successful and will have to leave'. Honestly a dreadful experience. The manager gave me those 'Karen' vibes my generation warns against. I was older than the other interviewees (I was 22 at the time). I did ask why she couldn't have told have told us beforehand and she said this wasn't possible-- nevermind the group chat that she had made! Many of those kids took days off school for this. Rubbish. Think I dodged a bullet with this one.
