Fairly relaxed and informal interview, it was mainly conversational, with some questions about my understanding of what the role would involve (e.g. busy shifts in back to school, serving lots of customers etc.), competency questions e.g. about communication and customer service skills and then questions about my availability over the summer. Might be different for busier stores!

Interview
I had a group interview and we started off by introducing ourselves and had 5 minutes to talk to the other people there. After that, we were split into two groups and had to design a children's shoe and then pitch it. I thought there was going ti be a one to one interview afterwards but there wasn't.

Interview
Was described as a 30min group activity and then a 1-1 manager interview. Ended up being a 1-hour group interview as the manager was on holiday. Spent the first 30 mins telling us how hard the job was and that even adults quit on the spot. Apparently, the training has changed this year to 1 day only instead of learning over multiple weeks. A lot of emphasis on KPIs and meeting sales targets even if you are a temp. Said you have to sell a shoe in 12-15 minutes to meet your target. We were then given different scenarios and had to pick a shoe and justify our choice.
