I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Clarks (London, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
It was a group interview. There were seven of us. We first got told more about the role and how many vacancies they had. We were then told to introduce ourselves to the group. Then we had to pick a shoe and do a sales pitch and had to pitch a shoe care product. Before we left he also asked us for our availability and asked if we had any questions. In the email it said we would have 1-1 interview with manager in my case we didn’t ! Manager was chill and friendly. Expected to be an hour we finished around 40 minutes in. Got an email the next day offering me the role :)
Participated in a group interview exercise where I was asked to sell a shoe to fellow candidates, demonstrating persuasive communication, product knowledge, and how I'd handle typical customer service interactions and objections.
It was fairly simple. It was a group interview where we had to introduce ourselves as an icebreaker. Then, we did tasks such as pitching a shoe to sell and designing a particular shoe and explain why the product would be great to sell.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pitch a shoe to the room and how would you go about selling it to a customer?
The interview was quite short, I was just asked a couple questions from a sheet and wrote my answers down. Was called back a couple of weeks later to start.
