I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Classy, Inc (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Met the Classy team at a career fair. Since the company is a startup, executives were actually at the fair which is really cool. I was contacted about a week after and set up for an interview. The interview was for the wrong position but I was routed to the correct position afterwards. Interviewed with the VP of design onsite after an interview on campus. Great guy and really approachable!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Classy, Inc (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Interview was pretty straight forward. Had a call with the recruiter, then the VP of Design, then had an in-person interview with another Product Designer, The VP of Design, and the CEO. The interview process was informal and not too difficult. They asked a lot of questions about conversion, process, and research. You also have to present a few projects and be passionate about the entire journey of the design, not just be concerned about the final visual design. They aren't overly concerned about what systems you use to execute you work.
I received a very generous offer and it would have been an absolute pleasure to work with this brilliant team. The only caveat is that my start time wasn't conducive with my timeline since it required me to relocate. If you have the opportunity to interview / work with Classy, I would absolutely take it!
