      Product Manager Interview

      Aug 19, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Classy, Inc in May 2021

      Interview

Recruitment Takeaway: I had a positive, thorough, and quick recruitment experience. Total Rounds: 3 (Recruiter, Hiring Manager, 4-Final Round 1:1 Team Interviews) Interview Questions: STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) Interview Format: Zoom Video Time per Interview: 45 Mins Total Time (Intro Call-to-Offer): 1.5 months Recruitment Process: I expressed interest in Classy to my friend and they eagerly introduced me to someone that worked there. That individual immediately made the time to share their Classy experiences and learn about my background. That same day a recruiter reached out to me and scheduled an intro call. I shared the open role I was interested in, however, they indicated there may be a position on the horizon that would better fit my skillsets. They were incredibly warm and encouraging. Round 1) A couple months later I saw a role that matched the description the recruiter provided and I reached out to them. They immediately remembered me and set-up time to share more about the role. Following the call they confirmed a potential match and scheduled time for me to talk to the hiring manager. Round 2) My call with the hiring manager was pretty straightforward. We discussed the role and my experiences. The vibe was more serious than casual, which differed from my intro call, and made me a little apprehensive. After joining I now understand that the team is tightly knit and the HM wanted to ensure the candidate was a best fit for the team before an introduction. Round 3) 4 1:1 interviews with different members of the team (Sr PM, Sr Designer, Sr Engineer, + 2nd round with Hiring Manager). You’ll need to allocate 4-hrs to this whether it’s one day or over several days. The personalities of the team were unique, personable, and authentic. Following the interview the recruiter gave me a decision timeline, and within a week-and-a-half I had an offer.
