I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Clear Street
Interview
Overall interview process was pretty standard leaning towards easy interviews. The bad experience start after interviews. I was informed that I passed the interview and there will be a reverse interview. I talked to EM and it seemed like a good fit. Recruiter told me everything looks good, then later told me that the role required finance background (I asked this to multiple people and everyone told me that a lot of folks join without any finance experience and it's fine). Then I talked to some other EM and the talk again went good but radio silence from recruiter even after multiple follow ups. I must have spend 20-25 hours between all interviews and meeting various engineers and they don't have the courtesy to tell me if they don't want to extend an offer. I highly suggest not to waste your time by interviewing there.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Clear Street (Mumbai) in Jan 2026
Interview
It was a long process, they took 6 rounds and told me everything was good.
Then stopped communication and after few days the recruiter mentioned they are going for some other candidate.
This experience have left a sour taste in my mouth, Anyone who is going to interview just clarify right in the begining how many rounds will be there.
For my future self I have decided if anyone says more then 3 I am going to remove my candidature.

Next 2 were system design round

Introduced the company and culture, introduced the team, described the person they want. And asked few question about my status, my skill set, location, career plan etc. Totally about 35 minutes.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Clear Street (New York, NY) in Jun 2022
Interview
Initial interview with internal recruiter, then with the hiring manager and then onto a half day a virtual onsite.
Questions were practical and my interviewers were genuinely interested in hearing about my background and what valuable experience I would be bringing into the team. The questions asked were not text book style and I don't think I could have answered them if I had just read a few books instead of actually working with those technologies in a professional setting.
