The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at ClearSlide (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2012
Interview
Initially I had a good experience with a very responsive recruiter who seemed to really be rooting for me. The phone interview with him was pretty standard.
Round 2 was an in person with the recruiter, about 30 minutes with an Account Executive, another 30 minutes with an Account Manager, and 30-45 minutes with the Sales Director. ALL of them told me they liked me for the position and I would be moving forward.
Round 3 was different. I was asked to complete a slide deck presentation and presented it to the recruiter twice, the sales director twice, and the COO once. Again, all very positive reviews however when the COO (the final final final round) was finished he asked me, "You're interviewing for the AM position? Why? We aren't hiring any AMs right now....." and said he would check with the team and they would get back to me the next day.
I emailed and called the recruiter several times before finally getting a response from him saying (basically), "oh yeah..... we're not hiring any AMs right now, but if we were you would get the job.... sorry?"
Advice- KNOW WHAT YOUR COMPANY'S NEEDS ARE BEFORE YOU WASTE MY TIME! I had put another offer on hold while waiting for their unreasonably long process to be complete.

Question 1
What experience do you have that qualifies you for this position?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at ClearSlide
Interview
Very quick interview process. Offer was not detailed enough and didn't explain starting commission, rather what it would be in a few years. Phone interview was to pitch to the COO on the product but at that time, the company website didn't have much information. People who interviewed me where great and recognized my passion.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ClearSlide (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2012
Interview
The interview process was thorough and professional consisting of a phone interview, one in-person to meet the team, and my own presentation on the product. My recruiter could not have been more helpful, and even made himself available to answer my calls while he was on vacation!
