I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ClearSlide (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2013
Interview
Applied online and got an email from a nice recruiter a couple of days later. The first step was a short voicemail challenge, less than 3 minutes - "selling them something you're passionate about". The next step was a 15-20 minute phone screen. The recruited asked me several questions... Why ClearSlide? Can you tell me what you someone with role does at ClearSlide? Tell me about a time you presented something? How do you prioritize responsibilities?
The in person interview went smoothly. Met with two managers in this particular department. Most of the questions were the applicant personally, professionally and behavioral type questions - trying to make sure you are a good fit for the team. Questions were about my most recent position, challenges that I faced, how I stay organized, how I prioritize, what I've done to prepare myself for this position in the last year... pretty standard questions!
They made it clear that you'll be on the phone all day, making outbound calls to clients to make sure that they are using the product.
Be sure to research the company and culture - and demonstrate why you will fit in.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ClearSlide (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2013
Interview
Had an initial sales pitch of something that you were passionate about. Was eventually brought in for an onsite interview. Ending up meeting with 3 managers for about 2 hours. Then had to walk a manager through a "live demo" with their product. Thought it was a but odd I have to do a second sales pitch for their product that they would eventually train you on.

Interview
I worked with an excellent recruiter throughout the interview process - she was very responsive - I got an email the morning after the night that I applied!
My interview consisted of a phone screen, an on-site meeting with the hiring manager and another Account Executive and a presentation using the platform with the COO as the final stage.
The recruiter and the hiring manager were very responsive throughout the entire process as I had a lot of questions about the company and the role.
