I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ClearView Healthcare Partners (Newton, MA) in Sep 2015
Interview
The first round interview was over the phone. It involved a few fit questions (why healthcare consulting, why ClearView) and a market sizing case. Nothing out of the ordinary. Make sure you have a compelling story as to why ClearView that will stand out when compared to the dozens other people they interview. The market sizing cases are rather standard and you should have perfected by this point. The final round was in person and involved interviews from 9 AM to 3:30 PM. I met with consultants, engagement managers, and two partners. The consultant/EM cases were the same as the first round with a few wrinkles, but nothing too difficult if you know what you are doing. All asked me why ClearView (again, be compelling) and I had a few questions thrown in about my interests, what people working with/for me would say about me, and what in my resume makes me the unique/ideal candidate for the job. One of the partners didn’t ask me a case but wanted to chat about the industry and my interests (make sure you are well read and know your stuff – this should be a fun conversation). The second partner asked me to size the market for a consumer electronic. Very unexpected but I had prepared for general consulting so I figured it out. Overall, the interview process was not difficult if you are well prepared for cases and read about the pharma/biotech industry regularly. The final round can be a bit grueling since it is long, but everyone is pleasant and is genuinely interested in learning about you. They are trying to get people that are interested in working in the pharma/biotech field long term, whether in consulting or another capacity, so make sure you are genuine in expressing your interest. They called me 2 days later and gave me an offer, which I accepted.

Interview
The interview was good but challenging. The interviewer was kind, professional, and supportive, making the conversation comfortable. Overall, it was a positive experience and a valuable learning opportunity for me.
I interviewed at ClearView Healthcare Partners (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview was composed of two rounds, one behavioral interview with a quick introduction and two standard questions. The case part of the interview was life science related, pretty intuitive. Each round was 30min and both interviewers were personable.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you made a mistake, what did you learn from it?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ClearView Healthcare Partners (New York, NY) in Mar 2025
Interview
relatively straightforward, both interviewers are very nice and helpful. Case interview first then behavioral. There are three behavioral "story type" questions, so be prepared to tell your stories! We finished the behavioral interview within 20 mins, so I also had plenty of time to ask questions. A good experience overall.
