I was interview in person for the position at my Ulta location and then 5 days later I has a Talent Plus phone call. Essentially the phone call is a personality test and your past experiences. More questions they asked Do you like to be busy? Do you think you are able to work longer shifts than others? Do you think that you would work well in retail? What are your past achievements? Do you have higher volumes than others? Have you been recognized for your achievements with your past emplyers? Example? Do you think it is important to be a part of a winning team? When were you a part of a winning team? What was your role? Is it important to have a relationship with your employees? Are you addicted to positivity? 1-10 Are you a smiler? Why? Do you like to look upon your success or do you think about what you could have done better? Are there any subtleties that you pick up on that others may not? Example Do you think of yourself as a salesperson? What do you think the role of a counter manager is? How do you motivate people to do things that normally someone would be against doing? Would you say that you are an organized person? Why? 1-10 What can a manager do to help others? What problems have you overcame and had to get help from another person? Do people come to you for advice? Example How honest are you? 1-10 What is something that you will always stand up for? What traits do you look for in a friend? What is a good customer to you? Are you hungrier than your other co-workers? Do you keep score with things? Do you think competition is okay? Do you sell in relations to something or product knowledge? Do you ever think negatively? Are you a sales orientated person or a customer service orientated person? Would you say that you are an assertive person? Do you think authority is necessary? Have you ever been in a conflict with authority? How do you deal with complainers? How do you like to relax? Are you applying for the full time or part time? Are you a loyal person? How have you displayed loyalty? Do you like working? Do you like to work with small effort and lots of breaks or long amounts of time and smaller breaks? Your co-worker is giving away free products to particular people, how would you address this? How would you place someone in a new position when hiring from within? Does seniority have to do with your decision? What are your hobbies? Do you think that you have the traits for a counter manager position? Do think that it is important for your employee to feel like they belong? Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night and figure out a way to solve something at work? How would you handle employee conflict at work? If a friend has something that you needed, would you ask for it?
