I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Clinique
Interview
I had 2 interviews prior to the talent + portion. I feel as if they set you up for questions that have no real use for this position. They asked about my beliefs(what?) & asked totally off the wall questions none pertaining to makeup, sales, or managing. I felt like they didn't get a good outlook of me. I was really disappointed. I don't think I will "pass" this test, though they claim there is no "pass/fail". I did, however, get an incredibly nice interviewer. She was very nice & even chuckled at some of my answers (when I was trying to be funny) they all don't have brick wall personalities ! But I do feel as if this interview process is extremely drawn out and excessive. If I pass the portion I still have 1 more interview to go 😬 I feel as if I am more than qualified for this position (I have a cosmetologist license, I've worked in a salon, and I'm currently an assistant manager at another retail store). It's frustrating that I have to keep having these phone interviews.

Question 1
An employee consumes alcohol outside of work on their spare time and never at work and completes their work 100%, how do you feel about this?
Initial interview, followed by face to face interview, followed by on counter demo, followed by store approval/interview. This was 10 years ago so I imagine it’s more virtual now with video calls.
