I would highly recommend people not to apply nor follow through with this company interview process. It is absolutely unethical for a company to put a candidate through the process: 1. You are given an online assignment, regarding Lyft drivers and riders problem. I solved it and presented the document. Should be the last online assignment you have to do. 2. Nope, you got another assignment, where they sent you a bunch of data, and you have to write a "Working Backward Document", similar to Amazon process, but asking you to also come up with an idea to solve the challenge as well: - There's no definition of the problem itself, so already in the beginning, it was rather weird - The dataset is like 6 different tables, where you can see sometimes 6k record (almost 20% of the records in one table) appears out of nowhere with no reference to any other tables. The information has been masked so financial data is super weird. - Then without understanding the company itself, I have to present a solution to the problem. => I thought the first interview was nice enough, so I worked on this. I presented my findings, and brainstormed multiple solutions, and worked on one that I find easiest for me to write the document since I just don't have any other information to write others. And yes, I was rejected, without ANY SINGLE FEEDBACK. The company just wants free consultation from candidate without doing any work. This is exploitation of interviewees, and is unethical at so many levels. Please do not apply and do not go through with any of these interviews.
