Interview
1. Apply to role via LinkedIn 2. Create "use case" exercise document ( took 2-3 hours to create) 3. First interview scheduled (15 minutes with 2 newer employees, one was one week in, the other 3 months in) 4. 20 minute interview with hiring manager 5. Review "Bo's letter" and write written responses 6. Interview with Bo, President Never in my life have I had a final interview like this. I had to share this horrific experience to support anyone interviewing with this company that if you are seeing the red flags, believe them. First I'll say, the interview process would benefit from a more traditional approach. I ultimately decided to spend the time doing the use case exercise because I could re-purpose it for applying at other companies. The final interview with the company president was bizarre, argumentative and left me feeling defensive and completely defeated. I have many years of experience and pride myself on my professionalism and did not feel mutually respected in this conversation. There were several points during that final interview that I considered cutting bait and ending the call. If the company wants to hire people that will tolerate that sort of "leadership" it was not a match and I did not anticipate an offer. I've had toxic leaders before and the signs are all there, listen to your intuition. Hope this helps!

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Clipboard (New York, NY) in Jun 2023
Interview
You first had to do a long case study that took a few hours. This was before talking to anyone. I then met with someone on the team for 30 minutes followed by two 45 minute calls with the hiring manager. Everything was recorded and they asked me a ton of questions about my current company's strategy. I was moved to a final round with their President. Right before, he cancelled our call because he was sick. I then did not get the job even though they never rescheduled.
