This seems to be a pattern of theirs. Unfortunately, I didn't see the bad interview reviews prior to completing the Case Study. By the time I saw all of these bad reviews, I had already had 4 interviews. I had a total of 4 interviews and they called my references and then sent me this email. We took copious notes, thought about it a lot, and spoke with others on the team. At this point, the specific role, in conjunction with the company stage, context, and existing supporting team may not be the best place to set you up to succeed, or the best fit for what you're looking for. Our reasoning has as much to do with where we are as a company at this moment in time as anything else. We want everything to be set up for you to succeed, for your sake more than anything else. We know these meetings take time, and I hope you enjoyed meeting us as much as we did knowing you; we learned a ton from you. We want you to know that we don't take the time you've spent with us lightly. If there's anything we can do to help you in your career moving forward, please don't hesitate to get in touch. You're clearly someone who's constantly growing, and we're constantly evolving as a team. We might yet find ourselves working together at some point in the future, so keep in touch. It's a small community here in startups, and we’re happy to have met you.
