Same experience as everyone else here. Recruiter reached out, invited me to “interview”. Spent several night and weekend hours on the Lyft pricing case before failing to get an invitation to a proper interview. I submitted what I thought was a thoughtful and well-reasoned analysis. This is something I’m decent at and felt good about my answer. I received an email a couple of days later saying they weren’t interested in even a first-round interview. I’m not sure what they’re looking for but it’s the last time I do a case like this before the first round. Go read other reviews on Glassdoor, Reddit, YC website, etc. and you’ll see the same thing. I recommend looking elsewhere.
